The Bong County official further called on residents to use the mosquito nets for the purpose intended.

“In Bong currently, 275, 560 mosquito nets are being distributed across the county. I am really happy and grateful for this distribution, and I hope that my people will take it very seriously because if somebody is thinking about us from afar to alleviate some of our mortality problems, we will be looking up to our people to properly use the opportunity", she said.

Meanwhile, a resident of Lelekpayea Community in Gbarnga, and beneficiary of the donation Princess M. Mator expressed joy for the donation, citing that this is the first time for her to benefit from mosquito nets distribution.

Mator used the opportunity to call on other beneficiaries to stop misusing the nets as fishing material, adding that the net will help to reduce the spread of malaria in the county.

"My children have been getting sick from mosquito bites, so I am going to use these nets as they have instructed us", she said.

Mr. Tokpah further stated that with the use of the nets, he will have the opportunity to save funds to support his family instead of spending too much money on malaria cases every time.
