The Minister of Foreign Affairs Her Excellency Mme. Sara Beysolow Nyanti, received a high-level delegation from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, led by Special Envoy Ambassador Saad Alqathami. The envoy delivered a personal congratulatory message from His Excellency Faisal bin Farhan Al-Saud, Saudi Arabiaโ€™s Minister of Foreign Affairs, celebrating Liberiaโ€™s successful election to the United Nations Security Council (UNSC).

The visit marked a strategic moment in Liberia-Saudi relations, with Ambassador Alqathami expressing Riyadhโ€™s intent to deepen bilateral cooperation and multilateral consultations on peace and security throughout Liberiaโ€™s UNSC tenure. He further proposed enhanced diplomatic engagement amid shifting global dynamics.
