President Boakai Congratulates Venezuela on 215th Independence Anniversary

The President of the Republic of Liberia, His Excellency Joseph Nyuma Boakai Sr., has sent a congratulatory message to the Government and People of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela on the occasion of the country's 215th Independence Anniversary, which will be commemorated on July 5, 2026.

According to a release from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, President Boakai, on behalf of the Government and people of Liberia and in his own name, extended heartfelt felicitations and sincere best wishes to the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Her Excellency Delcy Rodríguez, as well as to the Government and people of Venezuela on this historic occasion.

In his message, President Boakai noted that as the Venezuelan people celebrate another milestone in their nation's history, he fondly recalls the longstanding bonds of friendship between the two countries and their peoples. He emphasized that these historic ties provide a strong foundation for further strengthening bilateral cooperation.

Furthermore, the Liberian leader reaffirmed Liberia's commitment to enhancing its partnership with Venezuela, stating, "As a bilateral partner, Liberia will continue to engage positively with Venezuela to build on and strengthen our existing bilateral frameworks."

President Boakai concluded by praying that President Delcy Rodríguez will continue to be endowed with wisdom, good health, and happiness as she leads her People.
