Public Works Minister Lafayette Roland Giddings and his crew were also on hand to receive the President.

Also at the airport was Mr. Alimou Sanu Barrie who is Chief Executive Officer of Pavifort Associates, the Construction Company paving the road.

The main groundbreaking ceremony will take place near the Liberia-Sierra Leone border in Mendikorma.
