MONROVIA, June 28 (LINA) – In an effort to provide equal opportunities for Liberians in the job market, Labor Minister, Cooper Kruah has promised to create job opportunities for people with disabilities in both government and private sectors. 

 

Minister Kruah spoke at a Two-Day "Tripartite" Partner’s Sectorial Consultation Results Review and Social Dialogues Meeting held at the EJS Ministerial Complex in Congo Town.

A statement issued by the Ministry of Labor, quotes Minister Kruah as saying that even though previous administrations did not implement this, but with this new administration, the ministry will have the opportunity to sit with partners and discuss the welfare of the people.

 

The Labor Ministry boss emphasized the need and important role "Tripartite" Partners in Liberia are playing as a strong pillar in pushing the Labor Sector forward while challenging line Ministries to support its work.

 

Minister Kruah further described “Tripartite" arrangement as a respected household, citing that in recent International Labor Conference, the institution was discussed at every level.
