Ngafuan attending.  While in Brazzaville,  Minister Ngafuan met and held discussions with a delegation of the Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED), led by the Director General Waleed Shamian Al-Bahar.
The discussion centered on concluding the U$15 million commitment by the Kuwaiti Fund for the pavement of the Salayea to Konia highway in Lofa County.

The Salayea-Konia Road is part of the Gbarnga-Mendikorma highway. Deputy Information Minister for Public Affairs, Mr. Daniel O. Sando, said the Kuwaiti Fund, the Saudi Fund, BADEA, and OFID, pledged their financial commitments to complete the pavement of the Salayea-Voinjama road.

Minister Sando told Journalists at the Ministry of Information's regular press briefing held on Thursday, May 28, that the Finance Minister also discussed the road project with the ADB Director-General Waleed Shamlan Al-Bahar.
