“Kakpa Kulon no” Town Hall Launch – A Pictorial Highlight of Liberia’s Inclusive Governance Initiative
On May 7, 2025, the Ministry of Information, Cultural Affairs, and Tourism (MICAT) officially launched the nationwide “Kakpa Kulon no” (Come Let’s Talk It…) Town Hall and Exhibition Initiative at the EJS Ministerial Complex in Monrovia. The launch event marked the start of a nationwide tour across all 15 counties, promoting inclusive governance, transparency, accountability, and open dialogue between the government and citizens.
The event brought together high-level officials, civil society leaders, youth and student groups, and the general public to discuss national development, the 2025 Budget, and the AAID agenda. An interactive exhibition showcased key government projects, reinforcing MICAT’s commitment to grassroots engagement and citizen participation.
This album captures key moments from the launch — from speeches and exhibitions to vibrant discussions — as Liberia embarks on a journey toward greater civic inclusion.
