Four Dismissed LDEA Officers Appear In Court

Four dismissed officers of the Liberia Drug Enforcement Agency (LDEA), charged with drug-related offenses, appeared Thursday, May 21, before the 13 Judicial Circuit Court in Kakata, Margibi County.

The four officers were arrested and charged on May 5, 2026, with tampering with evidence, cocaine, arrested from a suspect, identified as Quita Dolo, who is currently on trial for Illegal possession of cocaine. Suspect Quita Dolo was arrested on July 12, 2025.

LDEA authorities said following an investigation, the four officers were dismissed in keeping with the LDEA zero-tolerance policy against corruption, misconduct, and criminal acts that compromise national security and public confidence.
Those dismissed and on trial are Joe Logan, Abdullah Sheriff, Lovetee Flowers, and Menkpapuo Duo.
