Daniel Sando, born on June 6, 1988, is a distinguished Liberian politician, public intellectual, and practitioner in the fields of criminal justice and international relations. He currently serves as Deputy Minister for Press and Public Affairs, at the Ministry of Information Cultural Affairs, and Tourism (MICAT), and Deputy Spokesperson of the Liberian Government. Prior to this, he served as Deputy Minister for Technical Services at the Ministry of Information, Cultural Affairs and Tourism and was also Administrative Assistant to the President Pro-tempore of the Liberian Senate, Senator Nyonblee Kangar-Lawrence. In addition, he is the official spokesperson and constitutional Vice-chair for Press and Public affairs of the Liberty Party.

Hailing from Bomi County, Daniel is the son of the late Captain Daniel Sando Sr. of the Armed Forces of Liberia and Lucy Gibson, a native of Grand Bassa County. Following the tragic loss of his father in the 1990s, Daniel and his mother sought refuge in Ivory Coast, where he began his education at the Martha Self-Help Preparatory School in Danane. He returned to Liberia in 1999 to reunite with family and continued his studies at the St. Francis Preparatory School in Tappita City, Nimba County.

A proud alumnus of the Addo-Mills International School System in Monrovia, Daniel demonstrated his leadership abilities as President of the Press Club, driven by his passion for public speaking. He was elected President of the senior class and later led the Addo-Mills Student Council government under the Student Integrated Movement (SIM) party.

Daniel pursued higher education at African Methodist Episcopal Zion University, graduating in 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice and Sociology, focusing on crimes and corrections. Committed to furthering his academic journey, he is currently a candidate for a Master of International Relations at the IBB Graduate School of International Studies, University of Liberia. 

Daniel Sando continues to be an influential voice in Liberian politics and social advocacy, drawing upon his diverse experiences and educational background to contribute meaningfully to his community and country.
